K to 12 Implementation

The new change in the Philippines'Education System was Implemented starting on 2011. The K-12 Education was signed into law back in 2013, adding three years to the countries basic education curriculum. The new k-12 curriculum guides requires all Filipino students to have one year of kindergarten, six years of elementary schooling (Grades 1-6) Four years of Junior High School (Grades 7-10) and two years of Senior High School (Grades 11-12) . According to we.Scrubs.com every Filipino child now has access to early Childhood education through universal kindergarten.
K-12 is just compliance to a worldwide educational system. I don't think employeers out there will be interested whether you are k-12 Graduate or Not. What Matters to them is you have the degree, experience, skills and training. Besides, There is Licensure examination for graduates to qualify in there chosen profession, Learning varies to every persons. Those who learned faster will be bared with the added two years. It is costly two years as well, of course the k-12. According to DepEd's Elvin Uy what makes k-12 different in the public and private school sector is centered in the implementing process itself. The private school's have the Freedom to add different topics or classes, While the Public School are restricted with the minimum requirements of DepEd.
The Current stage of the K-12 Program there are a lot of Things that still need to be property cleared and looked up. In the Philippines mostly people are trying it's best to be regionally and Globally Competent in the field of education. K-12 should be first Polished for it to work at it's best. The traditional learning styles have their own merits or a good quality that deserves to be praised, but this new and innovate education strategy is a higher quality on that. It helps the students work individualistically and find solutions on their own.
This kind of Strategy makes students self-determining, reliable and indulgent. It also improves the relations between the teacher and student to bring a warm classroom atmosphere. The programs aims to evaluate the quality of education in the Philippines in order for graduates to be easily employed the k-12 program should be eligible to teach new subject.
In addition, the programs aims to meet the standard requires for professional who wouldn't to work abroad. Most, importantly, the system aims to fully enhance and developed the students in order for them to be well prepared especially in emotionally and cognitive aspects. Through this, graduates will be able to face the pressures of their work place. There maybe a lot of factors to consider for the k-12 education of succeed . But as long as we open our minds to change and we will take it on a positive way, we will definitely attain our most aspired educational standards which will play a great role in our countries development. The students should finish their studies in order to reach their dreams in life because k-12 is a tool for the better future. As what the quotes says":Poverty is not the hindrance of success".
